The Secret Science of Numerology

When unbalanced, P can be very domineering, have a “big head,” and
therefore not be a good business or marriage partner. Such people be-
come more possessive than loving. Being so top-heavy, the foundation of
P is not secure, and without spiritual awareness it can be very moody and
ill-natured. And, being 7, sufficient rest is important both physically and
mentally.


P can accomplish anything when it Perceives what it must do, does it
Promptly, and Perseveres until it is done to Perfection (The Key of Des-
tiny, 240-41).


All words that start with P denote Power, both physical and mental.
People who Plot and Plan use mental Power. There are Pilots and Politi-
cians, Pathfinders and Physicians.


Those who use P physically are Physical: they Produce, Pluck, Pack,
Pace, Paddle, Paint, Party, etc.


As a 7, the letter P is drawn to the scientific and/or spiritual. There
are Popes, many of whom were Pauls and Peters. There are Pastors and
Philosophers, Parishioners and Peacemakers, Pharmacists and Physicists,
and on and on. All P’s have a Purpose.

From Yod, the 10th letter of the Hebrew alphabet, come the letters I,
J, and Y. (See I and J for more on Yod.) The Y shape was derived from
the Phoenician Vau, or Waw. Waw was Y-shaped and eventually devel-
oped into four letters: U, W, Y, and F.


When the Romans first borrowed the letters from the Greek in the
first century B.C., they used Y as a vowel. Later on it was used inter-
changeably with I as both vowel and consonant. Since it was used pho-
netically as an I, it is considered an offspring of Yod.


Whereas the W has its valleys and peaks denoting change, the Y is a
crossroads of decision. Pythagoras said the stem of the Y is youth. When
that person reaches adulthood, there is a crossroads where a decision has
