  1. What letters are used to name notes in music?

  2. What letter comes after G?

  3. What kind of note comes right before or after a
    space note?

  4. What kind of note comes right before or after a line
    note?

  5. Write out five times, “After G comes A.”

  6. Can you think of a better system for naming notes?
    How about using colors? Shapes? Textures?
    Tastes? Smells? Numbers?

Practical Use



  1. Say the letters A-G in a repeated loop as fast as you can. Do the same
    thing backwards. Say every other letter: A, C, E, G, B etc. Think up
    another way to say these seven letters.

  2. Write the 7 letters out in as many patterns as you can think of. Make
    shapes with the letters. Be creative with them.
