The second most important part of the ad after headline is Opening
paragraph.

Keep sentences as short as possible, without sacrificing the clarity
or power of the message. Short sentences get read fast and easy.
Long first sentences risk losing them. They can become boring.
You should stick to the same principle as in headline. You must be
sure the first paragraphs of you copy explode interest and curiosity.

Answer the question: Why I should read this?


In opening paragraph, you want to get your reader’s attention to what
comes after. You want to arouse so much curiosity in your prospect that he
can’t help but keep reading. You want to push the prospect forward
throughout of your copy


In opening paragraphs, you elaborate problem that your prospect has. Also,
you may give him announce why he should read your copy. Further, you
appeal to the emotional pain of your prospect.
