FROM MEMORY
Here I used the same fiber-tip
pen to compose a scene from
memory. Earlier I had witnessed
a crowd of fellow travelers
crammed en masse in a fleet of
hired gondolas complete with
musicians and choir.
Fast lines These scribbled lines model the
mass and shadows of heads belonging to
passengers packed into the boat. Fast lines
focus on action, not form. Compare this to
