Goya's Monsters

THESE LITTLE CREATURES of ink and invention were born

out of animal and bird studies. I borrowed small and

fragile specimens from the University Museum of

Natural History, Oxford, and used their detail to

draw new creatures that might at first seem

familiar, until we look again.
