isusedup.By theageoffifty,asa result,halfofthe
average person’s hairs have gone gray.

into a clot of gooey yellow-brown pigment known as
lipofuscin.Thesearetheagespotsweseeinskin.When
lipofuscinaccumulatesinsweatglands,thesweatglands
cannotfunction,whichhelpsexplainwhywebecomeso
susceptible to heat stroke and heat exhaustion in old age.
