Remove flammable native plants and

avoid placing evergreen shrubs and trees

within 30 feet of the house.

Firefighters often refer to highly flammable vegetation

as “gasoline plants.” These plants are easily ignited and

can burn very intensely. Do not plant or retain gasoline

plants within 30 feet of the house.
