Fitness and Health: A Practical Guide to Nutrition, Exercise and Avoiding Disease

(lily) #1

So much of the food preferences people develop later in life were
acquired at an early age from what their parents fed them as babies.
Starting off right makes feeding your older, potentially more picky
children much easier. The bottom line is this: If your kids are not eat-
ing right it’s usually your fault. In their early years, take the respon-
sibility to buy and prepare all the food they eat. Don’t let the
processed-food companies and the lure of convenience dictate how
your child will eat for the rest of his or her life. The quality of your
child’s entire life depends on it.
