  1. Click OK.

  2. Click on the PivotTable option in the Offi ce Ribbon.

  3. Select New Worksheet from the Create PivotTable pop-up window.
    To interact with the SalesOrderData Perspective you just created, click on the drop-down
    menu in the fi eld list on the top right and select SalesOrderData as shown in Figure 58-17.

Notice that the BI Semantic Model has been simplifi ed and is easier to navigate with the
perspective you just created.

Deploying BI Semantic Models to SharePoint


After you create a PowerPivot analysis, you may want to share it with other colleagues in
your organization. Typically, you would e-mail this workbook or save it in a network share.
This way of sharing PowerPivot workbooks creates several challenges:

■ (^) Increased mailbox size due to potentially large fi les sent as an attachment.
■ (^) The workbook can be modifi ed, creating the risk of multiple colleagues having
different versions of the same workbook.
