- The Table Import Wizard window opens. Select the Microsoft SQL Server option, as
shown in Figure 58-18.

- Click Next. The Connect to a Microsoft SQL Server Database dialog window opens.
Type the SQL Server name, and select the AdventureWorksDW2012 database from
the list. - Click Next. The Impersonation Information dialog window opens. In this window
you specify the credentials that Analysis Services will use to connect to the data
source when establishing a connection import and process data. You can choose
a specifi c Windows username and password or use the credentials of the Analysis
Services service account.
Best Practices
In high security environments, it is always recommended to use a separate Windows username and
password to connect to the data sources in case the service account is compromised.
