  1. Click OK. The BI Semantic Model Connection fi le is created.

  2. To launch Power View using the newly created BI Semantic Model Connection fi le,
    click the fi le’s drop-down menu options and select Create Power View Report. You
    are now ready to create a Power View report


Creating Reports with Power View
Power View offers several visualization options to display data. The initial building block
of all visualizations is a basic table. After the initial table is created, you can change the
visualization type by simply clicking the visualization on the Ribbon menu.

In the examples, you create Power View reports based on the
HelloWorldPicnicPowerViewRTM PowerPivot workbook. You can download the sample fi les
from http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=26718.

In addition, you need to download the image fi les from http://www.microsoft.com/download/
en/details.aspx?id=26719.

Also download and refer to the readme fi les for instructions on how to deploy the
sample fi les and images. The readme fi le can be found at http://social.technet
