Working with Cards
Cards provide a way to display attribute data for dimension members. For example, it can be
valuable for building a product catalog.

To create a product catalog using Cards in Power View, follow the next steps:


  1. Open the PicnicItemAnalysis Power View Report.

  2. Create a new view.

  3. Click inside the title area. Type a title, for example, Product Catalog.

  4. From the fi eld list on the right, expand Items.

  5. Drag Name to the layout section.

  6. Expand the visualizations options on the Ribbon menu under the Design menu
    option of the Table Tools. Click Card. The table changes to a Card visualization.

  7. Drag the Drawing inside the Card visualization next to Name. The image of the item
    displays below the item name.
