  1. Click Blank Workbook, and then click Create.


A new, blank workbook opens.


  1. Click the File tab, and then click Save As.


The Save As dialog box opens.

By default, the Save As dialog box displays the contents of your Documents library or the last
folder you accessed from the dialog box.


  1. Navigate to your Chapter08 practice file folder. In the File name field, type
    Exceptions 2010.

  2. Click the Save button.


Excel 2010 saves your work, and the Save As dialog box closes.


  1. Click the File tab, click Info, click Properties, and then click Show Document
    Panel.
    The Document Properties panel opens.

  2. In the Keywords field, type exceptions, regional, percentage.

  3. In the Category field, type performance.

  4. Click the arrow at the right end of the Document Properties button, and then click
    Advanced Properties.
    The Exceptions 2010 Properties dialog box opens.
