discovered the development of EI in effective Federal government leaders, using the
theoretical lenses of experiential and situated learning and a constructivist
epistemological foundation. Chapter 2 presents an extensive review of these constructs,
variables, and relationships within extant scholarly literature. Chapter 3 describes the
methodology. Chapter 4 describes results of the data collection and analysis. Chapter 5
describes conclusions and implications for research, theory, and practice.
