- KHD Pyro redox Low NOx Calciner –Thermal NOx generation inside
the kiln when it reaches to kiln inlet chamber is trapped and taken into
pyro redox reactor in between kiln and calciner and fuel and feed is fired
at bottom area i.e. in oxidizing area to create reducing zone by consuming
all oxygen available, and then NOx is suppressed in upper portion of
reactor, which is joining at the bottom of main calciner where TAD is
joining from bottom. Feed and fuel is fed in upper section so that all fuel
can burnt with zero CO in Calciner i.e. This helps to reduce NOx up to
20-25%
