9. Preheater Cyclone Efficiency


In future projects it must be discussed with all pyro suppliers to design the cyclone
efficiency of all the cyclone to @ 95 % as Mr. Larsen`s note also states that “If
efficiency of all the cyclone are increased to 95 % there will be heat saving of 5kcal/kg
clinker.
Based on client’s requirement, higher efficiencies offered by suppliers for
all cyclones with no experience and reference in industry in the past, hence we are
not giving any rating on that however if the given cyclone efficiency is achieved it
will be a benchmark and benefit will be achieved.
