best beloved. We shall serveour higher self


inservingit,andthusoncemorewecomeback


tothatfromwhichwestarted,the Invisible,the


OneandtheAll.


And Altruism,gloriousas itis in the lower


stagesofmorality-Altruismitself-islostinthe


Supreme Oneness of the human soul, in the


absolute indivisibility of the Spirit in Man.


While,however,wearestillconsciouslyseparate.


Altruism mayrightlybe regarded as the Law


of Life,basedonacommonoriginintheDivine,


based in the common training, the pilgrimage


whicheverysoulofmanmusttread,based also


in common experience, in that life after life


wherewehavetolearneverylesson,acquireall


knowledge, share the various possibilities of

humanlot,andbuildoutof commonmateriala


sublime character. In that life our destinyis


one,theperfectionofadivinehumanity; onein


origin,oneintraining,oneindestiny,what shall


availtoseparate Man from Man and tobuild


upwallsofdivisionbetweenbrothers?
