Explanation



  • Tian Ma, Nan Xing, Quan Xie and Jiang Can subdue Wind.

  • Bei Mu, Ban Xia, Zhu Li, Fu Ling and Chen Pi resolve Phlegm.

  • Fu Shen, Chang Pu, Yuan Zhi, Dan Shen, Xin Cao and Hu Po calm the Mind and
    open the orifices.

  • Mai Dong nourishes Yin.

  • Gan Cao and Sheng Jiang harmonize.


This prescription is stronger than the previous one, both in resolving Phlegm and subduing
Wind.

Clinical Manifestations


A feeling of heaviness of the body and of oppression of the chest, profuse sputum, a rattling
sound in the throat, blurred vision, dizziness, a Swollen tongue with sticky coating and a
Slippery pulse.

Tonify the Spleen, drain Dampness and resolve Phlegm.
