Explanation
This famous remedy tonifies Spleen- and Heart-Blood and can be used for Atrophy Syndrome
from Spleen and Heart Collapse.
The tongue presentation appropriate to this remedy is a Pale and Thin body.
Kidney and Liver Deficiency
Clinical Manifestations
Weakness and atrophy of leg muscles, sore back, dizziness, tinnitus, blurred vision, dry eyes,
dribbling of urine, exhaustion.
Tongue: Red without coating.
Pulse: Fine and Deep.
This consists in deficiency of Yin of the Liver and Kidneys and weakness and malnourishment
of sinews and bones. This pattern only appears at the late stages of Atrophy Syndrome and the
symptoms and signs develop gradually. It may also develop from any of the above patterns in
their late stages.
