Explanation

Variations

• To harmonize Blood (stop bleeding, eliminate stasis, calm and nourish Blood) add Xiao
  Ji Herba Cephalanoplos segeti, Qian Cao Gen Radix Rubiae cordifoliae, Sheng Di
  Huang Radix Rehmanniae glutinosae and Gou Qi Zi Fructus Lycii chinensis.


• To astringe: it is not necessary to add an astringent as the formula already has Shan Zhu
  Yu.


• To treat Qi add Mu Li Concha Ostreae.


• If symptoms of Empty-Heat are very pronounced add Han Lian Cao Herba Ecliptae
