This pattern occurs in places with a very dry climate such as Arizona or New Mexico. However,
it may also occur when someone who has been invaded by Wind is subsequently in a very dry,
centrally-heated house or work place.

- LU-7, L.I.-4 and LU-11 release the Exterior and expel Wind-Heat. LU-11 is bled if there
is a sore throat. - Ren-12, SP-6 and KI-6 promote fluids. KI-6 in particular soothes the throat.
