Tongue: Red, yellow coating on the right side.


Pulse: Wiry-Rapid.


This is similar to the Lesser Yang pattern of the 6 Stages (see below) with more Heat signs in the
Gall-Bladder channel together with some Phlegm-Heat and Damp-Heat.


Treatment Principle


Clear Gall-Bladder Heat and harmonize the Lesser Yang.

  • G.B.-43 clears Gall-Bladder Heat.

  • L.I.-11 and Du-14 clear Heat.

  • BL-22 resolves Dampness which frequently accompanies this pattern.
