Yu Ping Feng San
(Jade Wind Screen Decoction)


Huang Qi Radix Astragali membranacei 9 g
Fang Feng Radix Ledebouriellae sesloidis 9 g
Bai Zhu Rhizoma Atractylodis macrocephalae 12 g

Clinical Manifestations


Sweating, pale face, weak voice, prone to catching colds, sneezing, runny nose, shortness of
breath, attacks of asthma elicited by pollen or dust, allergic rhinitis.


Pulse: Empty.


Explanation



  • Huang Qi tonifies Lung-Qi and consolidates the Exterior.

  • Fang Feng expels Wind and, in combination with Huang Qi, consolidates the Exterior to
    prevent invasion of Wind.

  • Bai Zhu helps Huang Qi to tonify Lung-Qi.
