Explanation


This pill tonifies Qi, strengthens the Lung and Kidney's Defensive-Qi systems, nourishes
Lung-Yin and restores the descending of Lung-Qi. It is quite similar in effect to the previous
one: they differ in that Bai He Gu Jin Wan is more moistening and slightly less tonifying than
Ping Chuan Wan. This latter pill is also more specific for asthma as it contains Ge Jie and it also
tonifies Spleen-Qi as it contains Dang Shen.


The tongue presentation appropriate to this remedy is a Pale body.
