A 33-year-old woman had been suffering from chronic migraine for several years. The
headaches were frequent and intense and occurred over the right eye. They were throbbing in
character and aggravated by lying down. They were accompanied by nausea, a feeling of heat,
thirst and a bitter taste. The headaches improved during pregnancy and worsened after childbirth.
