Explanation

This formula, which has already been explained in Chapter 1, tonifies Kidney-Yang. It is
suitable for tinnitus from Kidney-Essence deficiency because it contains also Lu Jiao Jiao and
Gou Qi Zi which nourish the Essence.

Variations

• To direct the formula to the ear and treat tinnitus add Chai Hu Radix Bupleuri and Ci Shi
  Magnetitum.
