Explanation
This well-known remedy is also for invasion of Cold and Dampness with such symptoms as a
feeling of heaviness, pain, and oppression of the epigastrium, nausea, vomiting, headache and a
sticky tongue coating which could be white or yellow. The pulse presentation for the use of this
remedy is a pulse which is Slippery and slightly Wiry.
This remedy differs from the previous one in so far as it is more for epigastric pain than
Dampness and it also treats a headache from exterior Cold-Dampness.
Dietary Advice
In invasions of external Cold to the Stomach it is best to avoid cold foods such as salads and fruit
and, most of all, iced drinks.

Dull epigastric pain which is worse with pressure, feeling of distension and fullness, belching,
sour regurgitation, foul breath, vomiting of undigested food, epigastric pain relieved after
vomiting, loose stools or constipation.
