Explanation
- Ren-10 stimulates the descending of Stomach-Qi.
- ST-22 restores the descending of Stomach-Qi and dissolves accumulations in the
epigastrium. - ST-34, Accumulation point, stops pain and moves Qi and Blood.
- SP-10 and BL-17 move Blood and eliminate stasis.
- SP-4 and P-6 in combination open the Penetrating vessel and remove obstructions from
the epigastrium. The Penetrating vessel is also called the "Sea of Blood" because it
controls all the Blood Connecting channels. Its opening points can therefore also be used
to move Blood and eliminate stasis. - BL-18 is used if there is stasis of Liver-Blood.
Herbal Treatment
The formula used depends on whether the condition is primarily of the Excess or Deficiency
type. Four prescriptions will be discussed, the first three for Excess conditions and the fourth for
Deficiency ones.

organs. It moves Blood, eliminates stasis and stops bleeding.
