Explanation
This famous remedy moves Liver-Qi, tonifies Spleen-Qi and nourishes Liver-Blood. It is
suitable for chronic constipation from Liver-Qi stagnation especially in women, and especially if
there is also an underlying Liver-Blood deficiency.
The pulse presentation appropriate to this remedy is pulse which is Weak and Choppy on the
right and slightly Wiry on the left, or Fine in general and slightly Wiry on the left.
