General Prescription


Ren-6 Qihai, Ren-8 Shenque, KI-18 Shiguan, BL-23 Shenshu, BL-25 Dachangshu, BL-26
Guanyuanshu. Reducing method in case of Full condition with internal Cold or reinforcing
method if there is deficiency of Yang. Moxa is applicable in either case.


Explanation



  • Ren-6 with moxa, moves Qi and expels Cold from the Lower Burner.

  • Ren-8, with indirect moxa cones on salt, scatters Cold from the Intestines.

  • KI-18 expels Cold from the abdomen and promotes the bowel movement.

  • BL-23 with moxa tonifies Kidney-Yang.

  • BL-25, Back-transporting point of the Large Intestine, with moxa, expels Cold from the
    Intestines and promotes the bowel movement.

  • BL-26 with moxa expels Cold from the Intestines and promotes the bowel movement.
