Explanation
- The first four herbs are the Si Jun Zi Tang Four Gentlemen Decoction which tonifies
Spleen-Qi. - Du Zhong and Tu Si Zi tonify Kidney-Yang.
- Shan Zhu Yu and Shu Di Huang tonify the Kidneys.
One should add to this prescription some herbs to resolve Dampness such as Yi Yi Ren Semen
Coicis lachryma jobi and Zhu Ling Sclerotium Polypori umbellati.
