Introducing our new, rock-solid, Appleply®

tripods. Three different models are now being

fabricated in our recently completed wood shop!

The largest of these is the EVEREST tripod. Like

the name suggests, this new tripod is large and

stable. Weighing in at 50 pounds, we designed

this adjustable wooden tripod to hold our largest

refractors including our future SVX180T!

Appleply® is the most expensive and beautiful

hardwood plywood. We handcraft these tripods

in house. For protection, we stain them and

apply several coats of teak oil and seal with spar

urethane. Built to stand the test of any large

refractor and mount, Stellarvue Premium Tripods

will remain resilient and stable. Shown with our

SVX152T, and the Paramount MYT mount, the

EVEREST has no problem handling the weight.

our new Appleply tripod:
