9. Now, one cell at a time, do the following:

a. Click on a cell, and then click on the formula bar. Use the arrow keys or

mouse to move the blinking cursor bar to the “A1” in the formula.

(That’s the second one, NOT the one with the $).

b. Change “A1” to whatever cell you are in. If you are in cell B1, change A1

to B1. Remember to KEEP the quotation marks on both sides of the cell

designation. When you are done, press Enter and move to another cell.

c. Repeat this step until you have changed the formula in each of the cells.

When you are done, press F9. Look at the contents in cell A8, and make

sure that the smiley face appears in that cell in the grid.
