You can change the look of a string art design by altering the pattern by going

farther around the corner when you make the first line. You can also add color

to the design, but it is a somewhat tedious process.

1. You can only change the color of a line after you have drawn it. After you
   draw a line, and while it is still selected (each end has small circular grab
   handles) click on the Paintbrush icon on the Drawing toolbar. Your line will
   change to whatever color it currently shows.


2. To change the color, click on the down arrow next to the Paintbrush icon
   and select any color from the palette. The line color will stay whatever you
   choose until you change it again. If you have a student with a lot of pa-
   tience, they should be able to make a pattern of changing colors as they go
   around the grid.
