- Now remove the large rectangle from around the chart area.
In the Chart toolbar, select Chart Area from the dropdown. Right-click on
the white space in the chart and select Format Chart Area. Change the
Border selection to None.
Currently, both wedges of the pie are labeled. The blue wedge is labeled
with 1/4 and the other wedge is labeled with 0.75. You want to hide the
second label. When you click on the 0.75 label, all of the data labels will be
selected. Each label will have a square dot on either side, including the 1/4
label.- After clicking on the 0.75 label, wait a couple of seconds and then do a
second single click on the 0.75 label. Now – the 0.75 label is the only label
selected and there is a bounding box around just that label. Type the Delete
key to remove this label.
