k. In cell H13, type an A; in cell H15, a B; and in cell H20, a C. Click on
cell H13 and drag down to cell H20. Go to the toolbar at the top, and
click on the Right Align icon.

l. Go to cell O20 and type in the letter x. In cell O21, type in the letter y.
In cells P20 and P21, type in an equal sign preceded by an apostrophe
(‘=).

  1. Now you will enter the formulas needed to make this work. In order to do
that, you will use the equations from the Lewis Carroll quote at the begin-
ning of this section. Translating the paragraph into math sentences gives
    the following result:
    Tweedledee + 2(Tweedledum) = 361; Tweedledum + 2(Tweedledee) = 362

Assigning “x” to Tweedledee and “y” to Tweedledum, gives the following two
equations:
x + 2y = 361
2x + y = 362
