8. Make a place for student signatures.
   In cell A1, type NAME: followed by a long series of underline characters.

Every time that you type the F9 key, you will generate a new set of problems. If

you wish to give every student a different problem sheet, you can repeat these

steps:

1. Press the F9 key to generate new problems.


2. Choose the Printer icon in the Standard toolbar.
   Although it may seem tedious, you can quickly generate 25 different work-
   sheets in only about a minute.

Keeping the Worksheet from Changing

What if you have the perfect set of problems and you want to use these same

problems again for a pretest/posttest situation? In this case, you will want to

turn off the automatic Excel calculation.

1. From the menu, select Tools → Options. The Options dialog is one of the
   busiest in Excel, with 13 different tabs.


2. Choose the Calculation tab, usually the second tab along the bottom row. In
   the Calculation tab, choose the option button for Manual and uncheck the
   box for Recalculate Before Save.
