c. In cell Q5, type in the formula: =RANK(R5,$R$5:$R$15) and copy it down
through cell Q15 (following the same procedure as in Step 8b). This
formula ranks the random numbers from 1 to 11, based on their size
relative to each other.

d. In cell P5, type in the number one (1). Follow the process in Step 8b to
enter the numbers 1 – 11. These are, in effect, the question numbers.

e. When finished, you can view all the formulas in columns Q and R by
pressing Ctrl+` (Grave). The Grave is just to the left of the number 1 at
the top of your keyboard on the same key with the Tilde (~). Your work-
sheet should look like this:

f. Next, you will use the VLOOKUP formula. VLOOKUP has Excel look at
a value in a particular cell, go to a specified table of values, and return
a value based on the instructions that you give. In cell A5, type in the
