The Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation is a
nonprofit organization dedicated to popularizing the
unique and deep culture that surrounds Japanese anima-
tion by servicing the needs of fans, artists, and the
industry. They hold an annual conference called the
Anime Expo which is the largest convention devoted to
