Early in the
main quest
you’ll join a faction
(see more on the
next page). The first
three faction
missions you
complete each day
give you a decent XP
bonus, so it pays to
help out your
colleagues now
and again.

Without mounts, travelling is a
drag. Fast travel costs precious
Azoth, which you’ll want to keep for
crafting, so register at an inn to zip back
to it for free. You can only sign up at one
at a time and it’s on a one-hour
cooldown, though, so make it count.

BUY A NEW WORLD HOUSE
Claim your corner of Aeternum and make Amazon’s MMO home. By Harry Shepherd
TWOBIRDS

Climb those early levels fast by
focusing on main quests, as they
dole out the most XP. But don’t ignore
side activities – make sure they’re
pinned to your HUD and tick them off if
they’re nearby or on the way to your
next major task.
HOUSEHUNTING

To buy property you’ll need to be
at least level 15, have five
thousand or more coins, and be
Territory Standing level ten or higher.
That buys you a basic house. But the
question is, how do you get all that? Let
the rest of our guide show you the way...
SNOOZEWORLD

Leaving Aeternum after
enduring the server queues can
feel frustrating, but please get some
actual sleep at some point. When you
do, sign out from a settlement to take
advantage of the small XP boost from
the Well Rested bonus.
THE HISTORY

Look out for
little pieces of
paper highlighted in
a bright blue light:
these are lore pages.
Not only will they
flesh out the story of
your new home a bit
more, but you’ll bag
some experience in
the process.

Speaking of minor XP bumps,
flagging yourself for PvP combat
while out in the world boosts your
experience gains by a welcome five
percent. The perpetual battles over
territory in Aeternum are worth joining,
too, so get stuck in.
