Cutoff Table
B
ACK IN THE DAYSbefore I had a radial-arm saw in my shop, I
worked out a cutoff table to use with my portable circular saw.
The fixture consists of a 2x12 table, a 2x4 fence, and a guide bridge.
The rabbets on the two bridge pieces should face each other and be
spaced just wide enough to fit the base of your portable circular saw. If
desired, a stop block can be C-clamped to the fence for accurate
duplicate cutoff work.
