Blinded By the Light - The Occult of Roman Catholicism

(Sean Pound) #1

Concerning fables, the Apostle Paul instructed Timothy,

ìAs I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into

Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no

other doctrine, Neither give heed to fables and endless

genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly

edifying which is in faith: so do.î Timothy 1:3, 4 (emphasis mine)

ìBut refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself

rather unto godlinessî 1 Timothy 4:7

He also warned the church at Colosse,

ìBeware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain

deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the

world, and not after Christ.î Colossians 2:8 (emphasis mine)
