- EKG normal.
- Cardiac monitor normal.
- Lab results normal.
- Pulse oximetry normal.
TREATMENT
- Cognitive-behavioral therapy.
- Relaxation therapy.
- Administer antidepressants:
- selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors
- tricyclics
- monoamine oxidase inhibitors
- Administer benzodiazepines as adjunctive treatment:
- clonazepam, alprazolam, lorazepam
- Provide reassurance to patient.
