SO WHY DID WE SWAP from the RX 6800 XT? For
convenience, mainly. The card was needed for another
build later in the year, and so we pulled it out on the day
of the shoot, went into the office, built a machine with it
(the G.Skill Z5i system), and then grabbed a replacement
card to fit in the PC at home, while the Z5i was being
tested with the 6800 XT. It really is that simple. Such is
the life of a tech journo, perpetually swapping parts.
Performance deltas between the two are fairly
negligible, some games are better optimized to AMD (eg.
Assassins Creed: Valhalla), others are better suited to
Nvidia (any with ray tracing). One thing we would point
out is that the Suprim X is massive and requires three
8-pin PCIe power cables as standard. We will run into
problems with this later down the line, too.

NZXT’S FLOW IS perhaps the best implementation of an
airflow style chassis we’ve seen to date. At least from
a style perspective, anyway. Those front perforations
are large, impressive, and it’s super-slick and super-
clean. You still have the square panels, tempered glass,
PSU covers, cable tidies, and everything you’d find in a
standard 510, but without the solid front panel.
The front panel itself is a bit more solid than the Corsair
case we used for the build-off in the previous issue, and it
has a fairly fine dust filter magnetized into the front of it.
You can remove
it for cleaning,
but it is a bit
of a tight fit in
the panel itself
and can be a bit
troublesome
to get back in
once you have
cleaned it.
Once the fans
are installed,
there is about
an inch of space
between the
fans and the
front filter too.

WHY NO AMD GPU? GO WITH THE FLOW
