2 Place marker, join rnd, taking care not to twist sts, and work in K2, p2 rib
every rnd for 2^1 ⁄ 2 (3, 3^1 ⁄ 2 , 4) inches.
3 Change to St st (knit every rnd) and work for 2 rnds.

MITTEN BODY
1 Join rnd with rem 20 (24, 28, 32) sts for hand.
2 Knit every rnd until mitten is about 1 inch shorter than desired length.
