double-clickrecuva.exe(32-bit)or
recuva64.exe(64-bit)togetstarted.The
wizardwillguideyouthroughthe
processofrecoveringyourfiles– inall
likelihoodyou’llneedtoleave‘AllFiles’
selected.ClickNext,thenclickBrowse
under‘Specificlocation’toselectthe

foldercontainingtheaccidentally

deletedfile;if you’renotsure,chooseC:\

Users\{Username}tospanyouruser

folderssuchasDocumentsandPictures.

Oncedone,clickNext.

If thefilesonlyrecentlywentmissing,

don’tenablethedeepscan.ClickStart

andwaitforthescantocomplete.A

listoffileswillbedisplayed– green

onesshouldberecoverable.Tickthose

youwanttorestoreandclickRecover

tosavethemtothethumbdrive,then

openeachfiletoverifythey’reworking.

If nothingisfound,clickOptionsand

click‘RunWizard’torunthewizard

again,thistimeenablingthedeepscan.

Grant access

You’ll be prompted to give
