functional, useful, high-quality Wi-Fi-connected camera that
costs less than a quarter of what similar models do. It has a
Full HD camera, night vision, motion detection, noise
detection, and the ability to speak through it via the app. It
can store videos on microSD cards and/or in the cloud (so
footage is always safe) and includes 14 days of free cloud
storage, plus auto-arming and disarming using your phone’sGPS. Given that most smart cameras start around the £100
mark, we can forgive this one for cutting a few corners – it’s a
relatively narrow field of vision, and doesn’t come with ways
to specify that you only want to detect motion in certain

rechargeable battery so that it’s totally
wireless, or weatherproof so it’ll survive
outdoors, and even one that plugs
directly into a socket with no cable. It
has a 180-degree field of view withnight vision, and smart alerts mean that
you don’t get bugged for every bit of
movement – it’ll only warn you when it
appears to be a person, say. It also has
fun features like a ‘day brief’ overview of
