Assignments
Produce a ten image photo-essay giving careful consideration to communication and narrative
technique. For each of the fi ve assignments it is strongly recommended that you:
~ Treat each assignment as an extended project.
~ Choose activities, events or social groups that are repeatedly accessible.
~ Avoid choosing events that happen only once or run for a short period of time.
~ Approach owners of private property in advance to gain relevant permission.
~ Have a back-up plan should permission be denied.
~ Introduce yourself to organisers, key members or central characters of the story.- Document manual labour or a profession.
- Document a minority, ethnic or fringe group in society.
- Document an aspect of modern culture.
- Document an aspect of care in the community.
- Document a political or religious group.
