Nectarine-Cardamom Soup


With its cardamom and cashews, this summertime delight has an East Indian flair.


SERVES 2 TO 4

4 nectarines, pitted
2 teaspoons ground cardamom
½ cup soaked cashews, drained
1½ cups filtered water
Pinch of black sesame seeds, for garnish

Place the nectarines, cardamom, cashews, and water in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into bowls, garnish with the sesame seeds, and
serve.
