Flax-Dulse Chips


Flax crackers are possibly the simplest chip or cracker to make and are a crunchy delight. All you will want is “just the flax, ma’am.”


SERVES 2 TO 4

3 cups flax seeds
4 cups filtered water
¼ cup dulse flakes

Place the flax seeds in a bowl, cover with the water, and soak for 15 minutes. Mix in the dulse flakes. Drain through a wire-mesh sieve. Using one of
the methods described here, thinly spread the mixture ¼ inch thick on the appropriate drying surface for the chosen method. Dry for 18 hours, or
until crispy.
